i thought a new version of it was coming out? oh and also when using a
preston division doesn't work? for example =%a.exp/100 does not yeild a
result..and if your making a new version allow ifs (conditional branches)
please :) then it would be the most dynamic bot if seen, for example i could
say if %a.hp<0 Then %a.status=dead, or teleport user to x, all you would
need to do is change the action line command, for example you now have
object click, just add 'condition' and have the box defien th condition, and
have some presets, like datanames value, or w/e

Hi,
A new version of Preston is currently in development. If you have any
more information about when division does and does not work, please e-mail
it to me. I'll look into it in either case. Conditional brandhing is
planned for a future version.
Sincerely,
- Ima

Thanls :) i just can't seem to get it to ever work, im using the correct
format as documentation would suggest, but it never yeilds propper results,
also nameswith spaces don't work well with cases such as %a.gold, if %a
contains spaces, EX C P.gold, is read as P.gold

I'm betting it doesn't like the space between C and P?

Oh yeah, a rather nasty bug - I'm using a Preston to manage the effects in
my TV studio, so it's changing sometimes >100 objects at a time. My problem
is apparently the SDK keeps losing it's connection to the world, any ideas?

I've had this happen to me a long time ago, but I think I found a
workaround for it. If you split the effect objects up into various
object names, then you can do a sequence and each sequence event will
just change parts of the total thing and so on. Not sure if you are
doing it this way and having it not work as well. If you really want to
ease to load on the preston, just have the bot trigger an astart object
to turn the effects on/off... so that way you are only changing 1 object
and having the browser do the rest of the work. And since the bot is
changing the trigger object, everyone who is in the area will see the
effects being turned on and off :)
