build deletion with Xelagot (Bots)
build deletion with Xelagot // Bots
Jan 27, 2003, 2:57pm
I am having a problem with the build deletion feature in my world.
I followed the instructions as far as I can tell. I do the survey, save all
the cell content I want,
and then save the project. All the build is mine and I have eminent domain
rights.
I save the propdump to be safe. The bot software is running on the same
machine as the world
server.
I click on the destroy tab, leave the setting at 10, and select all objects
in project, then I press start
and continue. All I get is a delete failed list of all the objects. What
gives?

Sounds like your bot does not have you as its first owner.

well I have 2 cit# numbers, but mine is the one logged in. To be sure I
deleted the second and tried
again. Still the same error. I must be doing something stupid, just don't
know what.

Go to the Lists Tab and rightclick DeleteFailed, select Move List to
Project, then in the Project Window select "show text" and press the update
button, then it will say the error codes in the text list.
