afk gesture? (Sdk)
afk gesture? // Sdkdm mercuryApr 19, 2003, 8:39pm
Does afk mode invoke AW_EVENT_AVATAR_CHANGE? And if so is afk considered a
gesture? Or does any sort of call back exist to find out if a user is afk or not. ananasApr 19, 2003, 9:06pm
I doubt it very much. As AFK is a contact list feature and all
contact list functions are excluded from the SDK, a bot sure has no way to check the AFK state of a visitor. [View Quote] strike rapierApr 20, 2003, 12:58am
mmmm hmmm thats correct, the AFK is in the client to universe / universe to
client protocol only what what I can see. - Mark [View Quote] bowenApr 20, 2003, 1:30am

Should be better to make it a read-only state? Maybe even putting an "AFK" across
their AV. --Bowen-- dm mercuryApr 21, 2003, 1:28pm
well i dont like button clicky things, so i was thinking if you said
something like "/afk" then it could flip your afk state in the world/universe. but other people like the clicky thing, and there is a button already there and no need to but one in the gestures list. maybe can hope for it in future releases of the sdk with more implementation of sdk_avatar_set.
