To whom it may concern,

After spending some time learning the new 4.1 features in my own world(s),
I decided to go try some movers in AlphaWorld, and to my surprise, the
Building Inspector came at me with a "Sorry, you are not allowed to build
with 'z' objects in this world." I looked up the world rights, and the new
V4 objects are not allowed at all! Not only that, it's the same in all the
other AW owned building worlds I checked, except for Atlantis.

Why, oh why, in the first world where most new citizens learn to build and
get their first territory, in the still most populated world on average, are
the new features being denied to builders?

Unless there is a reason we are not aware of, please AW, allow the citizens
to bring this world up to date and prevent it from being an archaic
wasteland which it is becoming. It is the place that first drew most of us
to become citizens in the first place as tourists.

There are some amazing builders in AW that would love to beautify it, and
make it become the draw and center of the community it once was. Imagine
what places like SWCity and OffWorld could do with such features.

Not to mention the other AW public building worlds which would greatly
benefit from the new features also, such as CofMeta for instance. Imagine it
really becoming a metatropolis and fulfilling its' promise, instead of the
future ghost town it now is.

Help us to help you AW, to reinvigorate and repopulate these worlds, and
bring in new interest, new life and new memberships.

Signed,

Wolvie (citizen 321493)

"Enabling all the 4.1 features in a world like Alphaworld does open up the
potential for abuse. We will be looking at some potential ways to minimize
this abuse once 4.1 is bug free and then assess what features we can open in
a public building world." -Cryonics

OK, that was one of my guesses, working the bugs and abuses out. Still, it's
available in Atlantis, so that's why the post.

Because Atlantis is an old building world that is not as important and
primary as AlphaWorld?

Because it can be grossly abused and there's always a few abusers that ruin
it for everyone else.

They've got those turned on in awteen, and better objects. Why not just
build there?

Because AWTeen might not be everyones' cup of tea. I just thought it might
be in AWs' own best interest to allow V4 rights in their own flagship worlds
if it's all set. But if not or if they just don't want to, then so be it.
Everyone just go build in AWTeen or Atlantis or wherever else they can find,
if they don't have their own world.

From what I remember reading in an Ask AW article, it might be their plan
to never allow it, and open new building worlds with those features.
