I wondered the same thing myself...

I used the US mm/dd/yyyy format, and it worked fine for me.

Try using a different separator.

Really cool Mark. It gives me a good perspective. If you want, you can also
double the percentages for just the daylight hours, since people spend
almost half their life sleeping.
But here is my outcome from your site:
