The big list of everything

What would be awesome is a "fluid" object that changes shapes wherever it
falls too, just like real water does. You can also add different textures to
it. And you can set it so the gravity makes it drip and splash downhill or
just no gravity. Maybe you can even make it anti-gravity to shoot up in a
realistic fountain or geyser and then it falls back down again or something.
Maybe that could be some "power" or "force" or "anti-gravity" power to give
it. But don't make it too big when it hits flat surface or it would flood
everything LOL. People can just add as much as they want. Or maybe you can
set it to gallons=# or something.

Different Chat Logs For Different Worlds

A great new thing for an upcoming version of AW would be to let you choose
different chat log file names for different
worlds. And let you not use logs for some worlds and use logs for other
worlds. Imagine the people who lurk in AWGATE 24 hours a day and have their
log on, imagine how big the chat log file is now. Just make a new window and
when you go to a world, the name of that world shows up in the new window
and you can checkmark if you want to set the log always on for that world or
not. Should be really easy to make. I guess the only difficulty would be if
the world owner changed the name of his or her world, then you can just go
to that world again and switch it on again for the new name.

Able to Increase and Decrease Size of Objects

In the build window, have a drop down menu of how many times the object can
be in size. Maybe starting at 1/4 then 1/2 then 3/4 then 1 then 2 then 3
then 4 and so on. This way people can make much different looking builds
with regular panels and roofs and even huge gardens or tiny gardens. Or huge
forests, etc etc etc.
I hope someday we can have this.

Falling Snow around Christmas in AWGate

I think it was last year or the year before, they had falling snow
everywhere in AWGate around Christmas.
It was so coooooool. :) Can we have it again? Maybe for a week or 2 this
time.

Save Screen Option

Make it a little easier for people who want to save pictures of what you see
on the screen. Have it so you can Save As .jpg under File or something. I
know you can use Print Screen button and then Paste inside a Paint program,
but Save As just would be a lot less messy, faster, and easier.

Folders in the Teleports List

My Teleports list is really huge now. It would be nice if I could right
click in the Teleports List and choose "New Folder" and make a folder for
certain places. For example, a folder for all the teleports built by a
specific person. Or a folder for places from a specific city, etc. And let
us name it any name we wish.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have something even better, I catagorize
them all by the person who built the places, for example: Ken's ........ But
still, it is very hard to go down a huge list. A nice catagorized folders
list would be perfect.

easy in-browser multi-path

I have thought of the same thing before, but then I wondered how it would
work when 2 different objects with exactly the same name on 2 paths would
work. Which one would the browser use? The AW path and the Mega Path has 1
or more of those. Another thing too, for small servers, it would cause more
lag from using all the paths at once, or servers.

Stop The Enter Key From Sending Telegrams

I'm sure it has happened to others, but once in awhile, I do a typo and my
finger accidently hits the Enter key while I am writing out a Telegram and
that makes the Telegram send out. Then I have to rewrite the Telegram again
and apologise to the person. Just make it so the Mouse sends it out, not the
Enter key. Maybe the Enter key can be used for what Enter keys are suppose
to be used for and put the cursor to the next line instead.

Objects react to collision?

It would be nice if objects can use something like an If.. Then command like
in BASIC. For example: If tree8m.rwx = 15w 10n Then tree4m.rwx move 10 10 0
and you can have it so you can use any command besides move.
You can also made a new command called collide or something and have: If
tree8m.rwx collides with tree4m.rwx radius = .5 then ..... radius would
be the area around each object in coordinates, that would need to get into
range to set off the If / Then command.

Multipath for all AWI OPs...

It would be nice except that there are a few objects that are different but
with same names. People's builds would be changed if like sign1.rwx from
megapath was changed to sign1.rwx from aw world path. It would be great if
they could pool all those objects together and just keep the ones that are
doubled away from aw world, and keep the original aw world ones there, and
just have 1 new OP.

New set of rocks objects for AW path

Now that we have globes thanks to Tunablues :), the AW path should get some
new rocks, maybe 10 more or so. I'm tired of turning the rocks in different
directions to try and make them look different than the others. Make some
brand new stone textures also. :)

Melt The Snow Away

It's almost February and awgate and aw world look the same temperature as it
does outside my apartment, with stacks of snow. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr makes me
frozen even seeing that. About a week ago we finally started getting rain.
So do you think it's time to go back to a shiney warm day in AW?

Air Pockets Under Water

It would be cool if there was a way, maybe a command to put on an object,
like light does, to expand air (or empty space) within a given amount of
meters (including decimal numbers) of radius under water. That way people
can make cities under water, etc.

Hunting World Idea

This is to AW and anyone else,

It would be really cool to have a pretty big world, like P-50 or bigger,
with bots of animals like deer, ducks, pheasants, bear, that people can go
there and hunt. It would be like a Paintball world, but you would shoot bots
instead of other people. Have tons of terrain too and real looking brush and
wilderness. Maybe even have a fishing lake with fish bots that can be lured
to your bait. Don't make it too easy too, make the animals hide within the
brush. Maybe you can have them make sounds too. What do you think?

Hunting World Idea

Yes probably because it takes more than 1 person to play regular Paintball.
With a Hunting world, all you need is yourself there in the world and let
the bots and you play it. The bots could even record the Top 10 score and
keep it there for others to come and try to beat.

Delete Cache Within Browser

In the Settings, have a button where you press it and it asks you "Are you
sure you want to delete all of your cache?" and then you click the Yes
button and it deletes the entire cache and reloads the world you are in.
Also as it is deleting the cache, have a small popup window with a graphic
bar showing how much cache there is left to delete, because I know it could
take a little bit of time on older computers. This is just like web browsers
have with their cache.

All Sounds On/Off Button On Toolbar

I do this all the time, whenever I play an mp3 song on my computer and use
AW at the same time, I have to dig into the Options/Settings and uncheck
both sound selections. Why can't there just be 1 button, like near the AFK
button or something showing a speaker and when you press it, it turns all
the AW sounds off ? It sure would be handy.

Vehicles

Probably the easiest way to do this is just make an accellerator for warps.
Like if I want to check out builds going along the N-S road from AW GZ, I
can set the accellerator to like 10 mph or even 5 mph and plot in the
coordinates of where I want to go and then woosh there I go. Also make a
Stop button in case you want to stop and look around at something. Also
maybe even making a course plotter so you can change directions along your
journey.

Random Command

Would be cool to set parameters to see random objects or builds create the
visible on, and have the rest be visible off. Also you could use it for
random songs played in your builds and maybe even random skyboxes, terrain
textures, lights, entry point in world, etc. I bet a bot could do all this,
but I don't really like keeping a bot online 24/7.

Favorite Teleports Buttons Toolbar

Like Netscape has, AW should have a small toolbar on top where people can
put their favorite places in the AW universe at. It's hard to dig through
100s of teleports in the teleport window to find places I always go to, even
though I do categorize them, like "Ken's .....", etc. But a button toolbar
would quickly move people around more I believe.

Sticky Objects

A great way to line up objects when building would have something called
sticky objects where people can move them and feel them connect to each
other. AW can also use this later on whenever we get automobiles and trains
to have them "follow" a road or track wherever it goes.

Invisible Option

Interesting concept, except what if you want to bring them back to appear
and what if they are a Tourist? That would mean you couldn't have them on
your Contact List to change this back to appear and if they are disappeared
completely, there would be nothing left to click to bring them back.

Invisible Option

I guess there would have to be a server-side list for each person, even
tourists, of people they set to invisible.
Another problem though is, if you set a person to completely invisible, they
have the advantage of spying on you without you knowing they are there
listening. They would need to make it so they couldn't listen to you too. A
little too wild of a system for my taste.

Fix Teleport Back

Every once in awhile when I go from my world to a place in AW world, like
Lara's Object Yard, then I click Teleport Back, it takes me to the same
coordinates as the AW world place except in my world. Has anyone else had
this happen to them? They need to fix it.

Mega Path needs a Moon

I made one for my world Majestic about a 1 or 2 months ago. I took one of
the new globes, tbpictglobeh.rwx and added code in it to make it a lot
bigger. It already uses a moon texture, which you can find the name in the
rwx code too. The texture and globe can be found in the AW world path. To
make any object smaller or larger, put this code in the rwx file (remember
to save as .rwx and zip it before putting on your path), right after
"ClumpBegin":
scale 5.0 5.0 5.0
This will make the object 5 times bigger. 1 is normal size and a decimal is
smaller size.
You can see my moon and walk on it and see the buildings on made on it in
Majestic. Just enter the teleport "To The Moon" in the GZ. If you just want
a copy of what I made, telegram me, Kenneth, and I'll send it to you. These
globes are part of the new objects Tunablues and his friends added to the AW
path a little while back. There are also a couple other sizes of smaller
globes, using numbers by the name of the object.

Have Terrain0 be a different file name set in the World Features

I have 2 worlds, Majestic and Martians. Awhile back when I set them up, I
first thought of just using 1 object path, but because terrain0 for Majestic
world, which is grass, wouldn't work as terrain0 for Martians world, I had
to make a completely seperate object path. And as you know, terrain0 is
needed for all the land beyond your world limit to look right with the rest
of your land in your world. They should make it where you can change the
general land (what I call terrain0) to another file name in the World
Features, to be able to use the same Object Path for 2 totally different
worlds like I have.
