Beta Version shmeta version HUH?? // Community

Started up the computer etc , clicked on the AW icon, and got this message "
there is an upgrade available blah blah" downloaded the upgrade and now i
get " Sorry this is a beta version . Beta versions require a beta account to
log in" whats the deal with that??????????

D/L the *real version* from the website, next time you are prompted to d/l
an upgrade skip it until you are sure it's a *real upgrade*. Good Luck...

My question still stands.
Was it version 562? :)

Andsomeone probally just messed up a little, and made the public release 562
by mistake.. Just what happened with 3.6 when it went beta, it was released
for one day, before they cut it back to the beta team again.

Yep, its build 562....... and there was no difference between the beta
upgrade and any other. Just that box that ya get whenever AW decides to
change things.


and downloading AW all over again is a PAIN.... i pay for my internet by the
download *grumble grumble*

It's a pity that build 562 isn't open beta, as it doesn't have all that new
changes, nothing to hide from the public, unlike 4.0. The only reason would
be bugs, but those who download a beta version must expect that.
