Hi:)
Does anyone know if there is a tool that one could quickly change the axis
point on an object?
Thanks!

Maybe someone can do that for the new curvy objects that were uploaded to
the AW object path. >_< The curvy walls and the floor that goes along with
it dont even line up correctly.

Thanks Just In but that won't do what I'm looking to do.
Imagine putting a horse in a corral and wanting it to run in a circle.
The axis would have to be away from the horse wouldn't it?

The command you want is Translate, Bit. it's listed in the AW Help file in
the RWX commands.
Depending on how the object is constructed (in the rwx) can be tricky using
it.
if it's a COB converted to RWX then you could put the Translate in the
ClumpBegin section at the end of the file on a live after the Rotate
commands.
In general you want it in the Top Clump so it affects all child Clumps.
Sometimes you might have to put a new ClumpBegin / End around the whole of
the original with the Translate there so that it affects the whole thing.

Translate is a really simple command

translate 0.5 0 0 # to shift your horsey 5 meters to the right (if horsey
is facing forward), or
translate 0 0 0.5 # to shift your horsey 5 meters forward (if horsey is
facing left or right).
