We would like to take this opportunity to make a very important
announcement. The Dreamlandpark Universe has been sold. The buyers are
successful business owners in their own right and we believe that they can
take DLP to the next level of excellence and success. Would also like to
thank everyone who has been helpful and supportive during our time as the
proprietors of this great universe. In addition, we would like to say that
we are not leaving DLP, and we intend to remain here as citizens. So without
further delay, I would like to say that the new owners are: Wolfi &
Eskarina. Please give them a warm welcome and congratulate them on their new
universe!

I thought that universe licenses were non transferable?

Universes are very well a part of the general Active Worlds *community*,
just as are world announcements.
They are all a part of the same base software and allows people to
communicate in different areas ;o)

Licenses for Universes are indeed non transferable, as such the new owners
will have to re purchase the license from the day they took over the
universe. Other wise it is illegally operating as far as I understand from
what I have been told by Rick and JP in the past on the subject.
Best of luck to them its a very specialized environment to run not like
offering web hosting as the customer base is very different.
