Yes, .....she is one and the same hon. And the owner of Cyborg world. A
great lady if you ever get the opportunity to meet her. Very down to earth
and honest, even if she DOES make a ton of typos hehehe ((((((((((((((PL-
if yer reading this))))))))))) ;-"D She makes no qualms about her
deafness and I seriously doubt it stops her from chatting with whomever she
wants to. She has the patience of a saint. I've seen her putting up with all
kinds of things at the gate over the years and she remains steadfast as
ever. It is easy to see why PL is so highly respected by all those who have
had the pleasure of talking with her. ;-")

Yeah and thats why they call it an OPTION. You can still text message, so
there's nothing to worry about. Maybe you could get a program that converts
the chat to text? Don't know if there is such thing, but maybe.

Another concern arises.... what about news service using voice chat for
interview if logging features are available? I would like an assurance from
all news services including, but not limited to, AWNews.org and all
television and radio stations that does interview, that they posts the
transcript along with the voice chat logs (voice, not textual) logs. Only if
the voice chat logging features were available....

Dude... somethings some you can do, somethings you can't... People do their
best to accomodate everyone but they aint going to spend the majority of
their time doing it.

Its one of those try and "live with it"s

So that mean voice chat can be saved so folks can listen. So I still want
assurance from news service to post transcript beside the logs to listen.
I'm not backing down from it.

Well... do you demand full lyrics and transcripts from every AW radio
station? Nada... would they be willing to do so, nada... So tough titties to
you.

lol ya, like strike said, legion, don't take this in the wrong way, but you
don't really have any offical power over the news stations or whatever. this
ISN'T a democracy, they made it, they will do whatever the hell they want,
and no one can do anything bout it. what you could do, instead of trying to
demand it, is nicely ask for it, but it's too early for that, no voice chat
yet.

Not to mention that the only news source that AWI has any power over is
the newsletter... and I doubt that will be going to voice any time soon,
all the rest are run by citizens, and therefore, they can do what they
feel is best :-) so seeking any official assurance won't do a whole lot of
good...

Another tip, like SWE said, don't complain about it until you are at least
sure that it's there and it's out :-) they have not so much as released
any official statements about future releases of the browser that I know
of, so most likely, you are hearing this through the grape vine, not a
very reliable source, speaking of news sources :-) so instead of getting
hysterical about it, just relax :-) if you really feel strongly about it,
write an e-mail and send it to support at activeworlds.com, and I am sure
they'd rather settle it privately with you than publically on the
newsgroups :-)
