Hi Everyone!

Well....Tex and I just pulled in after a month of being on the
road...whew!

We went to Boston to help Tex's Mother with some stuff (Would have liked
to get more done) and also to pick up a car his brother was giving to
him....woooohooo!

While we were there, we had the great pleasure (along with DMC2U) of
visiting AWI Corporate Offices.
We got to see some really cool upcoming additions (sorry it's all
confidential) but definitely going to be some great additions to the
program:)

If any of you ever have the time to visit the AWI Folks, I highly
recommend it. They not only welcome you with open arms (and hugs), but also
make you feel right at home.

The weekend before we left, we went and visited Capaboo and her Hubby.
Wow......what can I say about these great friends?....Wow!

I have now met the greatest host and hostess ever!

Not only did they insist we spend 2 nights with them in their beautiful
home on the point of an island in Maine, but they also took us on a very
long boat ride around the island to see it and some of the Maine light
houses.
King Tex spent most of the cruise fishing (of course), while DMC2U spent
most of his time harassing me and attempting to make me think we were going
to sink....*Thwacking DMC2U* :)
While cruising the island, Paul (Capaboo's Hubby) prepared a delicious
ocean snack in the galley....yummmm!
That evening Capaboo came into our guest room and her and I chatted
while she finished a warm shawl and graciously handed to me as a gift.
I was ever so glad to have had the time to spend and get to know Capaboo
and Paul, and time to spend with DMC2U. They are now permanently embossed in
gold in "My Book of Friends"...:)
On our way home, we decided to take the southern route to knock out some
of the states I was missing in my "Goal to visit all of the states in the
USA" journeys.
To date all I am missing is Wisconsin, Vermont, Florida (Hey
Chloe!:)...Hawaii and Alaska.....wooohoooo!
We ended up getting broke down in Anderson South Carolina (Thank
goodness in a motel by the lake...lol)
The journey home took 9 days in some pretty danged hot weather (and in a
car with no air conditioning)...yikes!
But.....
We are now home safe...thank you God:)
Saw way too many accidents out there (Be VERY careful in your travels
please!)
It feels sooooo great to be home....for a bit:)
I will be leaving again on August 4th for Phoenix to help my sister
"Nutherbit Phalpha" move into their new home and will be returning September
5th.
I will trying to get some Cy stuff done before I leave again.
(Suggestion for your summer vacation)......
VISIT AN AW FRIEND!!!!!!

lol, right before i read this, saw your name on msn, and was wondering how
come i hadn't seen you in a longg time!
Welcome back! ^_^ sounds like it was a fun trip, other then the whole 9 days
in a car with no A/C thing :).
and hehehe, capaboo is such a cool name ^_^.

well, glad to see you back again :) and hope you can tell us more about
them features!

Yes....I had dialup in Boston so it was very hard to stay online and enjoy
it...ouch!
I wish I could tell you more about the features but E N Z O made me swear to
secrecy or he would pull some of the Becca verts out one at a time...lol

DMC2U...what the heck would you have done with a shawl hmmmmm?????!!!!!
Besides.....you at least can see Capaboo and her Hubby more often than me so
wer'e even:)
AND....don't you DARE share that picture of me before my morning face was
on....lol!

Welcome back from your vacation, Bit!

Now that you have almost covered the States, when you going to come over
here to Holland to visit? We have sooo much to offer !
My 'AW friend' is visiting me ... CaseyAngel is here right now with me :o)
I've hidden her passport so she can't return to the states ;o) *sings* I'm
in love with the most beautiful girl in the world !!!

I'm still recovering so I'm limited on the amount of activites I do, but
Casey has been enjoying herself and playing on my computer. *L* She loves
the ADSL because hers is on dailup hehe. They don't have cable in their
area, yet. And although she does have satelite TV, even that disconnects way
too many times to think about a satelite internet connection. So she's
content to be on mine : )

Bit and Tex, You should check the trout fishing out in the Chattahoochee
River in Georgia ! When I visited Casey we had trout grilled on the BBQ
with some lemon. Pretty tasty !

Bit, since DMC had so much fun teasing you about the boat, perhaps you
should ask him about a certain yellow ball with lipstick on it. I'm sure it
will trigger memories to a certain AW reunion in Seattle. ;o)

Dmc, do you still have your yellows balls with lipstick on them? LOL

Well.....
This gal doesn't like to fly much...
My sister won a company contest to go to Montreal Canada at the end of
August and she wants me to go with her...yikes!
I reckon it's time I suck it up and deal with my fear of flying...lol
When I lived in Portland Oregon, I met some very nice people from
Holland. Ya'll are fun people!
That is wonderful CaseyAngel is there with you!
Do I hear wedding bells?:)
And I bet she is the most beautiful. Sounds like you both are very
lucky!
I am very happy you are doing better! Please get 100% and stay that way
ok?
One of the Bass Groups Newsgroups we frequent have tournaments in
Chattahoochee. Hopefully we can attend the next one.
Knowing DMC...I can only imagine the lipstick scenario...lol

Flying isn't that bad...and once you conquer that fear, I bet you'll even
enjoy it. Casey says to be sure to tell your sister to make sure she wears
gloves on her first flight with you, otherwise you might leave grip marks on
her hand. hehe

You hear wedding bells? :o) Tomorrow wouldn't be too soon for me! I'm in
my early 30's and know what I want in my life, and I want to spend the rest
of my life with the woman I totally adore. CASEY !!! (Casey honey, even
though you're in your early 20's, I think we make a great couple! and I'll
spend each waking moment proving that to you! *kiss* !!! )

I'm on my way to being well 100%. Thanks Bit ! and having the love of my
life, Casey, here with me IS wonderful ! Right now she's happily decorating
my um maybe I should say "our" place. ;o) She's adding a woman's touch. And
making it feel like a home.
