AWNews would like to extend an invitation to the friends and acquaintances
of the late citizen Daphne to contribute, in their own words, their memories
and memorials in her honor. These will be published as a collection on
Sunday, May 30, 2004.

You may send your contribution anonymously or sign it with either your
citizen name or real name. This collection will forever stand as a memorial
for one of AW's most beloved citizens.

To participate, please send your submissions to: all at awnews.org by no later
than midnight Friday, May 28, 2004. Submissions should contain text only,
any images we receive will be omitted.

We invite you to view this collection on this Sunday, May 30th.

What a wonderful idea!!! I'm sure folks like me, who never really got to
spend much time getting to know Daphne will love to read all those anecdotes
and fond memories from the people who conversed with her on a regular basis
and/or worked side by side with her on projects. Unfortunately Daphne and I
never did get to know each other and only communicated via telegram on
occasion. Seemed she was always busy, doing something. I would love to get
to know her better, even if by reading about her, as described by the folks
who knew her best. ;-")

I did drop a email to Enzo last week to see if Aw could create a world in
respect to what Daphne had done for us all. A place where perhaps a few
notes from all that met her could be placed and act as a reminder and let
all new members know who she was. I'm awaiting a response.

Then we can have a lasting reminder in the place she loved to be.

You'll want to email JP about it for an actual response. He's pretty
quick to reply to emails.
