Hi everyone:
Does ANYONE maintain the ActiveWorlds Webring on webring.com anymore? If
not, would anyone mind if I or anyone else went ahead and started a new one?
My city website has been in the queue for MONTHS now. :-(
Cheers for now :-)

As far as I know, AWI lost control of the Webring quite some time ago and has never been able to get it back.

I think at this point we have to assume this person either isn't online
anymore or they have TOTALLY FORGOTTEN about the email box which is used for
the Ring. :-(
Either way, I think I'll get something started after the SW City Birthday
Bash. In fact, I may even create several Rings in different categories.
They would be....
All Things ActiveWorlds - Pretty self-explanatory
AlphaWorld Cities & Towns - For sites associated with a city or town on
AlphaWorld
AWTeen Cities & Towns - For sites associated with a city or town on AWTeen
There could also be an ActiveWorlds World Owners ring set up, but since I
don't own a world, it would be rather unfair for me to serve as RingMaster.
Lastly, there could be rings set up for other public building worlds such as
TheBeans, but I'll leave that one for someone else.
Any other ideas?
Cheers for now :-)

I own several worlds, but I'm too lazy to work on them.

umm there is only like 3 or 4 towns in awteen (all other ones in awteen
are ghost towns).. just have the category be towns in activeworlds all
togehter.. since most are in alphaworld and only a few in awteen, awteen
doesnt need its own category, i think
