I am right in the middle of creating the active worlds video 5.
Other videos can be seen at aw31.netfirms.com
If you would like to submit your place or world to have a chance of
appearing on the video, e-mail pine at awtaz.net or just replay to this post.
(Note the place or world has to be on a public object path)
Preview coming on the webpage soon

Just wondering - why public objects only? Worlds featuring custom objects
look pretty sweet, which = better video.

I was just gona ask the same question lol.
Why a public path?
If it's just to store and link to the picture that don't really need to be
on the object path, it could be set out side the path on same server space
like in an html directory or a directory all by itself.

He might need access to an object to be able to work with it in the video
and enhance it...

my guess is, since he has been talking about programs which convert terrain
and world databases to objects, he gonna rebuild the world in a 3d program
such as 3ds max, to perform certain "tricks" which wont be do-able using
something like sangit, such as explosions maybe....

i doubt that, never heard of him using any 3d programs for the videos. maybe
so the video is accurate to what anyone who visits can do...but i agree with
the others here, it'd make a lot better video if there's unique, custom made
stuff.

Actually I am using 3d programs and not snagit to capture video.Just getting
into that. Much smoother, and diffrent effects that I cound not have as you
will see in the preview. This is why I have to have access to a public op
since I have to download objects that are in the propdump to asemble a 3d
models of places.
Preview is now done and uploaded

Seems a little bit... fake.. then dosent it?
Explosions and such related niceties can all be done in AW if you put your
mind to it and throw it into something else... In your case... you cant call
them AW Videos.

Might I add, my target is totally for bringing, hopefully, more ppl to aw
May 25, 2003, 11:32pm
The preview looks good. I like the part where the building builds infront
of you.
^_^ at how Flangton Island looks too. Are you going to add water though in
the background? The vis cuts it off in AW, but with the program your using
it shouldn't matter right?

oh, i'm sure you're proud, the high of your day. i have to agree with strike
here, it's rather fake if you're adding too many things that can't be done
in aw, pine.
