Greetings, ladies and gentlemen:
I'm testing my recently installed OE-QuoteFix... please tell me if this test posting satisfies the Active Worlds Newsgroup Charter. If not, please give me some feedback. Thanks in advance. But I want to also emphasize that I do not wish to eliminate my signature full of quotes because these are historical quotes and, considering the fact that I'm a history buff as evident in those quotes and my previous conversation involving histories (besides politics and etc.), I want to raise the awareness of history and to promote the importance and values of our world and national histories (your nation). I would like to also thanks Andras, a highly respected and prominent citizen of Active Worlds, for his recommendation for this software, OE Quote-Fix. I owe him a debt. One step forward!
Next thing is to obey the RFC regarding to the signature length. It shouldn't exceed 4 lines i.e. FOUR LINES. RFCs doesn't care about your historical reasons :) One advise: Have the mail client randomly pick ONE quote each time - that would make your goal comes through and you still within the limits :) Thanks for trying! -- Andras "It's MY computer" (tm Steve Gibson) legionFeb 25, 2006, 11:34pm
Well, that's a new concept to me.. I never heard of such quotes or
signatures being randomly picked each time I posts to newsgroup. I have Outlook Express (but you probably know that... otherwise you wouldn't have pointed me to OE Quote-Fix :p) and I looked all over the Outlook Express 6... I can't find it. Is this something I need to download, a new feature of OE 7 or update (patches), or is it something that OE Quote-Fix does, even though I couldn't find any options for it? Thanks in advance. :) [View Quote] -- Respectfully Yours, Legion Chief Executive Officer and President of Operations Circle of Peace Inc.
