Where can I get a beta cit? // CommunitymrmikeDec 2, 2002, 1:11am
Dear E N Z O,
my previous name was FeNiX. so please listen.. I e-mailed AW to be a beta tester and it has been 2 weeks since I did so. They haven't replied, what can I do besides waiting? Sincerely -----> Mike/MrMike modDec 2, 2002, 1:24am
I don't think they are accepting any new beta testers, with the beta program
for 3.4 drawing to a close. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. Sorry. -Mod [View Quote] jstone2004Dec 2, 2002, 11:28am

Mod is correct. They are no longer adding features only fixing the other new
ones so 3.4 will be coming out shortly and therefor they are not accepting new beta cits, also they dont accept everyone for a beta cit MM. -- Brock - 308723 AW 3.4 Build: 446 Brock at iceflare.net From Newbie Guide to the Newsgroup (4th Edition): "Brock - This dude with a 'tude isn't afraid to speak his mind, especially when it concerns others in his own age range. In other words, the perfect NG candidate." [View Quote] jermeDec 2, 2002, 7:21pm
Drawing to a close? You've gotta be kidding me... Take a look at the list of
current bugs and the list of things that need to be fixed. Maybe they're not adding any new features, but i feel this beta is *far* from over. -Jeremy [View Quote] stecloudDec 2, 2002, 8:06pm
Well i'm so glad its getting on its way - even though i despise most of it,
well its Beta form - wasn't the original release meant to be at the end of August. brantDec 3, 2002, 9:36pm
I completely agree. Close? hah! They were "close" a month ago before
Young Shamus was ordered to add more features. I used to read the beta newsgroup and follow what's new with 3.4, but I've given up now - who cares if there's new features? The features that were in before were good enough. Just release the thing already. -Brant [View Quote] jstone2004Dec 3, 2002, 11:46pm
with the latest release, most of the major bugs were fixed, so now YS is
just dealing with the small things :P J [View Quote] brantDec 4, 2002, 10:53am
"Small" things? I'd bet that it will be mid- to late- January before this
version is released. The beta newsgroup is still flooded with posts every day. But more importantly, the documentation hasn't even been updated yet! That's what'll hold up this release - with all these new features it's going to take days or longer to write everything up. [View Quote] |
