Phew! Good thing you posted this in the newsgroups...I'm so glad to hear
that you are apologizing to CarL! I bet the rest of the citizens in this
newsgroup will be so delighted to read that you and Carl have patched things
up also! Oh, I see you relayed this message into other groups also...good
thing, you never know what groups CarL might check next!

True but from what I've seen so far in the ng's is that most people refrain
from apologizing after insulting someone (which is done in a public medium).
I think it takes courage for anyone to admit they have done something wrong
or hurt someone's feelings in any way. And it takes even more courage to
apologize like that with an "audience". Of course I realize that one can
say anything online, whether they are sincere or not. I am probably just
assuming this, but you did sound like you were sincerely apologizing, and IF
that is the case, yes, it was a brave thing for you to do. ;-")
