Come see the famous ball drop and fireworks go off on Broadway World
New Years Eve. We will be dancing and rocking to music, celebrating with
people from around the world. Looking forward to seeing you New Years Eve on
Broadway World.

I'm spending new years eve with a bunch of real life friends and getting
absolutely uhh, tanked. My goal is to pass out before the count down??
Not really, no passing out for me, but I'll be getting close! I'll be
dancing and rocking to music in real life, and looking at some real fire
works!

i know whatcha mean. Sitting on my computer at midnight listening to midis
and virtual fireworks doesn't sound like a good time to me (no offense to
broadway world)

Look at it like this :

Either midnight has 24 hours in VR because
VR covers 24 time zones.

optional :

Midnight hour of VR is not the same as your
midnight hour. Afaik they placed the VR
timeline so that not many people live there.


In both cases you might find some minutes
outside of your RL party time to party with
your VR friends :)

It's wonderful to be able to to go out for New Years Eve. For those who
choose not to an stay home maybe due to disability, having a party with
friends at home want to show off Active Worlds or are just ill, we want them
to know that there are people who will be there for them and care that they
have an enjoyable New Years Eve like anyone else. The party will run 24
hours for different time zones too.

true, I think that VRT passes right through the Atlantic, so only ppl on the
North and South pole and possibly on some small islands live within the VRT
timezone, CET time is VRT + 3, so here I can celebrate VRT New Years Eve 3
hours after we passed into the New Year IRL :-))

yes, my VRT is +12, with daylight savings right now though it's +13... VRT
new years is the middle of the day for me, LOL...
