New AW Ear website (Community)
New AW Ear website // CommunityprogrammerAug 16, 2001, 2:39pm
Hi,
Andras has offered to host a mirror of the AW Ear website. Many people have emailed me and telegrammed me asking why the site is down. The new URL to AW Ear is andras.net/aw_ear Also, it seems that the host of the other AW Ear website finally came back up too :-) aw explorerAug 16, 2001, 8:19pm
Thanks, I didn't telegram you, but did try to access your site and could
not. I'll try AW Ear. AW Explorer exploringaw at hotmail.com [View Quote] aw explorerAug 16, 2001, 9:06pm
Is there any way for me to get that first download from MS Update site? I
tried accessing MS Update site and could not. I'll have to wait until I can access it before I try it. AW Explorer exploringaw at hotmail.com [View Quote] programmerAug 16, 2001, 10:18pm

I think AW Explorer meant Windows Update at
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/. Builderz Stuff-X - Bot & World Hosting Services http://aw.stuff-x.com/ PGP Key ID: 0xAC0E7073 (for non-commercial use) [View Quote] wingAug 17, 2001, 12:13am

Sorry, meant Windows update site. Just trying to be careful about what I
put on my computer. I'll wait until I can access it; however, so far no luck. AW Explorer [View Quote] kahAug 17, 2001, 10:11am

why? and they truly haven't got it... if you don't trust links, then go
directly to the MS Agent site: http://www.microsoft.com/msagent/ and click on the downloads link. then download the core components and the genie character (if you wanna use AW Ear). KAH [View Quote] sw chrisAug 17, 2001, 6:24pm
I'm with aw explorer. I wouldn't trust that corporate giant as far as I
could throw it. :D SW Chris [View Quote] kahAug 17, 2001, 6:49pm
considering that Windows Update is operated by Microsoft... aw explorer
trusts them VERY well (that site makes you download all kinds of dodgy things...)! KAH [View Quote] |
