Is this still an active project by anyone?

I think it would be nice so that when you go to send a telegram to a user
and in so doing click on the user name, highlight "Send Telegram" that the
Send Telegram dialog box actually takes the focus, instead of the browsers
main chat line window.

i maybe was not 100% clear

if you are in activeworlds, and feeling like sending a telegram to a friend.
You look to your contact list, scroll down, then select the user and click
"Send Telegram." After doing so it will bring up the Send Telegram dialog
box, but you will notice that if you keep typing after the dialog box comes
up, that the Send Telegram window doesnt' have the focus, so the text you
could or possibly were typing is now in the main chat line window. Its not
much of a big deal, just the simple idea that, if u run an instance of
something, you normally want that instance to come to focus, unless it is a
background service, in which this is not.

I also know it wouldn't take much code(if any at all) to fix. So i'm
guessing it may have been done on purpose, but if that is the case, should
be relooked at for a quick change.

Come on, this is getting ridiculous.

I find this quite untrue. As I have studied in Physics, Chemistry, Biology
and other sciences I have noticed that the metric system is heavily used in
instruction and widely throughout our scientific scenes. While America does
not use it for average daily use(you won't notice it on freeway signs, but
you will in most textbooks), we have our own system that works well for our
needs, and simply because we don't follow "the international" standard for
everything does not necessarily mean that we are inferior, or that our
system is inappropriate or our prerogative.. When necessary to meet the
international standard we have conversions that we use to follow
international protocol. I see no problem with having two systems in place
coinciding in our country. Why does it seem like others have such a problem
with this? From a programmers view, which I like to think of myself as
*grins* I can see that continuity is great, and that is why ISO standards
are used. For such cases, it is essential that when developing for other
countries as well as your own, you keep these standards in mine.

I am also not prone to defending America's actions. I don't feel it is
something i should be obligated to do, except to try to correct statements
made infallibly. I have my own criticisms of the U.S. and they are much
more intense then the metric system. They deal more with Race, War, Poverty
and Politics...the list goes on, but is neither here nor there.

Enjoy the week,

all the technical reviews I've read that compare the browsers give Mozilla
the edge as far as reliability, stability, security etc...IE simply has the
edge when it comes to being on nearly every computer that hits the market so
it is still the most used, but does us no good when it is only tested
internally and perhaps a few 3rd parties and takes for the do do to hit the
fan before a major flaw is exposed then fixed.

The open source geeks have done it again :)

on a side note, sometimes you have to customize your toolbar so that the
delete or cancel button displays. Also to delete, you can probably click
the message in the message window and just hit the delete key on your
keyboard.

My lady and I enjoyed ourselves at the reunion. I forgot to thank those who
planned it and for those who attended it was a pleasure to meet you.

Count me in for next year too :)
