No, it doesn't "spill over" into real life. It's already there.
Believe it or not, there are actually people who want to try Goreanism
in real life. And while this may be hard for you to understand, these
relationships are set up because *the slave wants them*.
Goreanism being quite an extreme form of BDSM, there is a risk that a
slave will get a bad, abusive master. Ideally people should take proper
precautions like, say, telling people what they're getting into.
And y'know, if our society were a little more accepting, I bet most of
them would. :¬)

Oooh those evil Goreans! With their worlds that they don't force you to
enter! It's soooo unacceptable :(
Know what really bugs me so much? When a Gorean becomes a Peacekeeper or
something, even though they don't actually do anything related to Gor
while they're outside of the worlds. I mean, those people just should
NOT be put in charge of others, because of all this stuff they do when
they're off duty in X rated worlds!
I mean, these people are all after our children. It's obvious they're
after our children, because they eject anyone from their worlds who they
know to be underage. It's so BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS! CAN'T YOU ALL SEE IT?
And oh my GOD they're BRAINWASHING PEOPLE OVER CHAT PROGRAMS! HOW DO
THEY DO IT? I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE WAY: THE DEVIL'S POWER! EVILDOERS!
GO TO HELL, HEATHENS!!!!!!111111oneoneoneone

Not that I know of, but masks are stored in the textures folder as
zipped files.
http://objects.activeworlds.com/aw/textures/
Any file ending in .zip there is a mask. I suppose you could search the
page for ".zip".

Then why not email your thread about the Gor world owners to the Gor
world owners?

Um, don't they put the kids stuff on earlier, when they would normally
have kids stuff on anyway? Gradually moving over to more adult
entertainment? That's how it's always been when I've watched it.

Yet there are independent companies which provide such support...
You can't assume that Linux doesn't provide everything one needs, it
depends on the application...
It doesn't matter how much software is available as long as the required
software is available...

Do you build, though? Building under WINE does create issues, last I heard.

If Active Worlds Incorporated decided not to add "badass" to the Customs
Aide list, I think the implication would be that they think a warning
should be given for this particular word.
It's understandable, really, since people say "badass" usually with no
ill intent, justifying a warning rather than an immediate eject.
