Here are the 4 best renders.

I have messed around with the lighting and added the carpenter's pencil.

I reckon that's about it for this project. Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice.

Arrrgh!! You can't leave it like this! You haven't put your tools away! "The jobs not finished untill all the tools are back in the box!!" - or so my boss told me way back when I was an apprentice!:D

Seriously rchappell - you've done it again, another high quality result. You can mark me down as impressed and as soon as I get finished with the musical project I'm working on and can get back to tSing I'll be posting some images for you help me with!!

Great work Dude!

Really Stoker, do you have no tact at all?
Crap? It may have needed some work at times but crap...?

Careful what you say or we may start insisting you post some of your own work...have you actually posted anything yet..?

People who live in glass houses etc. etc.

Hmmm, I seem to remember Stoker saying that he didn't want to post any work on the forums. I wonder why  , he's got tS7 so he must be into creating stuff, but I wonder what.........and of what quality.......

Richard - "....'tis good...."

Actually Hemulin...........I have just recently......in the last week finished a detailed flythrough of a building conversion I was asked to do including renders of each room and a simple plumbing and electrical plan inluded. I am not aloud for these to go on the forums as the person I have done it for says that these are strictly confidential:confused::confused:

And then there are the "not so good renders" from school etc.....

oh and I have modelledd and rendered out a full set of showjumps (finished a while ago).........I will see if I am allowed to post them.

Hmmm, I seem to remember Stoker saying that he didn't want to post any work on the forums. As far as I could remember that was a while ago and the only things I had done at that time were simple renders that arent even worth puting on the forums:rolleyes::rolleyes:

My point exactly. When you have demonstrated your own artistic ability, then you can advise someone else regarding theirs... and be taken seriously...;)

Thanks for all the kind words and comments - I didn't expect such lively debate at the end! I agree this project initially lacked substance and I got bogged down with the modelling early on but I still feel it was a worthwhile journey even if it went off at a tangent a couple of times.

Personally I feel that I peaked with the sandpaper but I still regard these projects as valuable learning experiences.
