Hey there Mr. Bones. That's pretty funny!

Can you make the cake collapse when the chef falls onto it?

Mr Bones cakefall animation in this thread shows how easy it is to do animation combined with physics in truespace 7.5. Iam making tankgirl walk up a stair way then do a little dance at top then she trips and falls down the stairs using physics. Very easy compared to other 3d programs.

Good animation Mr Bones at 50MB a bit too large though, you could get more viewers if size was smaller. Look at these speed model guys they are geting short animations at 300-400KB.

Black Cat Avatar test animation.Looks good, I take it this one is not a motion capture but key-framed by hand.

True it is keyframed, Mocaping animals is very hard, but I know they have mocapped animals like dogs and horses.

Any crits or comments on this video?

Hi Mr B. I'll offere some comments -

You should hide the skeletons skeleton - it looks like the bones rig is visible extending above the head and beyond the hands.

You should definitely credit the Night Church scene to either Caligari or the original creator (is this Parva's work?)

I'm no Micheal Jackson fan but I like the idea of bones dancing in a night church and busting some of MJ's moves - a nice tribute really since it's the 25th anniversary of the Thriller albums release.

I liked the extreme camera moves but for me they felt a little too hurried - a boom camera could catch those motions in the real world but not at that speed I think.

It works well as an animation exercise and I would have liked to see some more focus on lighting.

All in all, good use of the Night Church scene and the mocap files. I liked it but I wouldn't add it to my favourites. I actually preferred your funky blue man video - that was really different and reminded me of an old movie called Altered States.
