Check out this scene made exclusively for TrueSpace 7.5 It is Binky Character Boxing and hitting a swinging punching Bag.
Make sure you play this one at 60 frames per second, by switching your animation preferences. It demonstrates physical interaction with keyframed objects in TrueSpace. Binky is really hitting the bag via physical simulation. Comments and or questions are welcomed.
Cheers

Thanks David, This one was very fast and easy. Im thinking this is better than endorphin, almost! More soon,
A collabroration I would enjoy is if someone could show me how to use the rope for the Binky boxing scene, I would like to use the rope to hang the bag with. Do you think thats possible?

Cheers

any comments on the bananas? I got the light effect by placing phyprops on the lights, which I threw at characters during the sim recording.

That's impressive. Really shows the potential of TS's physics and real-time renderer. I don't think I've seen anything quite like this before in a 3d app.

My only criticism was that the bananas seemed to float a bit, but it was only noticeable in the close-ups.

I'll have to check out this side of TS when I get the chance.

Wow:banana: Looking at MrBones Banana animation and looking at the punching bag animation show why so many people are now getting in to Truepace or COMING BACK to Truespace like me. I just did a mini Banana animation in just a few minutes. Will post it later. I thought wow that was sure easy. I still use my softimage xsi but Iam so hooked on the Truespace realtime peview that I hate now waiting for rendering time in xsi. Maybe realtime work will someday replace the hours and hours of single frame animation rendering wait. Even on a slower frame computer I can render to file several thousand frames of render to file workspace frames in just a few minutes. Then bring those files in to a compostion program and adjust all the speed and timing and save to any movie or format I want. As always Caligari is looking forward.....

I like the balcony animation. I wonder if you dressed those skeletons in some kind of skin, do we still get real time speed?

Some more great stuff mr bones. I really like that balcony one. Great effect in that.

Jhowell, I am a returning ts user too :) The real time and new bones and vray got me. All great stuff.

Mr bones, I just installed second life. Did you know people upload bhv animations to there and sell them? I think you could make a lot of money there. I'm gonna try to make some of my own bhv's for it.

What caught my eye was the third smaller video. The blue guy's reaction to the fall was priceless. It looked like a human reaction. Cool.

Looks good. Are you using the truespace flash plugin to make these? If so, how?

Not using the flash plug-in, just flash to assemble the frames.

hey mr. bones. These all look really interesting. Do you have to do a lot of work with truespace, coordinating physics with keyframe animation?

Thanks,

Froo

Thanks Dele,

I appreciate your positive feedback, more physMo animations coming soon.

I was thinking a chef falling down the stairs with cake might be fun.
