Nice Noko, What kind of render is this? HDRI or realtime window? The mud looks good! So does TankGirl!
Thanks

That was with regular lights and in modeler. Now do you remember the glasses I had a fit over which took you all of 2 min to attach? Not bad considering goldfinger has no nose or ears :). Anyways here is HDRI and Goldfinger freezing his gold buns off and just not finding a warmer spot:

hehe, yeah you discovered they where a convoluted, multi glued nurb object with endless number of tiny nurb parts still with construction history :) . Thus you converted them a polygon oject rather smartly :icon_ConvertNURBSTo . Still I remember it a rather quick turn around for you to figure out how for me to get them attached. Now the HDRI render animation with GoldFinger was rather quick and is in order of like 10 seconds a frame if not better. Tank and mud actually took longer then the HDRI animation test if I remember right.

LOL, I forgot about those :). Those where tests for TS7 and really training for me as well :D. The Panning camera should say Rotating camera. In HDRI moving the camera isn't always the best thing to do ;).

Now how did you do the Camera Match animation, which is really good I might add?

Wow, Thanks!

I really have to give trueSpace most of the credit, It has allowed me to make the kind of animations I wanted to. Quickly and Easily.:)

I have to also credit David Bokon and many other testers and those genius developers at Caligari that have helped me along the way.

And of course to Roman who let me stay on test team after I was being a complete bonehead a couple few times to many.;)

More animations soon!:D

Thanks again and Cheers:banana:

Harry Bones Vray rendered in Ts7.5

A tribute to Ray Harryhausen the animation pioneer who in his heyday animated sinbad skeletons and the original "King Kong" stop motion style, by hand, frame by frame. lest we forget.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Harryhausen

Some nice animations there. One question if you or someone can answer. Can Hair in TS 7.5 pick up coloring from a texture map? e.g Paint tige stripes on a model and put hair on the model and tell the hair to color itself from the stripes?

Cheers. Off to watch the other animations you have done.

Wonderful job there mr. bones! May I ask how in the world did you manage to animate those truebones in real human movements? Do you attach some gadgets on your body while transfering that info on your PC? :p

I'm going to need some lessons from you....

This was accomplished using MOTION CAPTURE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_capture)

The monkey move file is one of over 1,130 pre-animated mocap files included in the MonsterBones MegaPak at trueBones.Com

I just imported the .BVH into TS7.5 attached it to the Monkey Mesh, Applyed a physim property to Monkey in TrueSpace, Put various objects around the floor, Applyed physim properties to them. Painted objects. Then ran simulation with save keyframes enabled, Then I saved finished animation from workspace as seperate .BMP files. Then I imported those files into flash for final frame assembly.

Way cool as always Mr.B !

I have a couple of quick questions for you about your truebones.tsx plugin at http://www.truebones.com/truebonestsx.htm .

The image there states that it "works best with" TS5 or 6, but does it work ok with 7.5?

Also I have an older version of Poser 4._something_ and if I recall correctly Poser 4 creates BVH animation output, or am I wrong? (Poser 4 manual buried in garage attic!)

Thanks...

Hello,

The TrueBones .BVH import .tsx plug-in does not work with TS7.5. That is because .BVH import is included as a standard feature of TS7.5.

Poser 4 may indeed have BVH output, But I am not sure, I know that Poser 5 has it.

There are many motions available at TrueBones.Com that import into TrueSpace 7.5, here is a free demo of bvh motions if you would like to try some.

http://www.truebones.com/freedemo.zip

Thanks again and Cheers

Excellent! I didn't know that 7.5 had BVH as a standard import feature! Great!

I finally went up in the garage attic and resurrected my old Poser 4 Manual... sure enough it imports, creates, and exports bvh files. Also great!

Of course I'l still have to schedule some funds after my outlay for TS7.5, Vray1.5, and a trueServe setup so I can get your absolutely huge "1,130 pre-animated mocap files included in the MonsterBones MegaPak at trueBones.Com " which would otherwise take a lifetime to recreate! ;)

That really is a great offer MR. B., and as soon as I can I'll be going for it.

Thanks again,http://www.addis-welt.de/smilie/smilie/totenkopf/deadcool.gif

Good animation Mr Bones at 50MB a bit too large though, you could get more viewers if size was smaller. Look at these speed model guys they are geting short animations at 300-400KB.
