The version 2.9999990 of X1 Xelagot, just uploaded, has an enhancement in
caretakers' Give/Take rights using the Presence list pop-up menu: Give/Take
rights have now been merged into one menu, with a checkmark indicating if a
right is on or off, and allowing to change that. There is also a new menu
allowing to change the rights of the citizen number belonging to the privs
used by an avatar... so if someone is wearing privs, you can adjust those
rights too. You can now check and change directly:
1. collective rights (the rights with a *)
2. personal rights of someone
3. rights of the privilege number used by someone.

Non-caretaker bots allow you to check but not to change the rights.

The six digit version numbers are a pain :) Maybe you could drop to maybe 2 or 3 when you git 3.0? version 3.001 is much easier than
v3.000001

Yes, I agree with Wing on this.

LOL, it's really none of your business, you don't need to type in the
version number. It is used internally to check whether the new version
needs to change format settings (there have been tens of changes in the
settings) without bothering you. If you don't like the number, buy another
ticket LOL.

Hi,

Well you know me, and I am used to your version numbers.

I do fully expect that after you reach 2.9999999 the next version will
be 2.999999910 ;-)

Or do i remember an 8 digit limit somewhere?

LOL

the problem is simply that the bot, at each new version, checks the ini file
for the previous version number, using float notation, just in case it has
to upgrade files. The accepted way of writing version numbers is not usable
in this context, and if I had used the build number system, I would be in
build 19657 now (or something like it), which is not really very helpfull to
anyone. So I keep the float number system going, I'd rather see 2.9999991
than which tells me at least it is still version 2 point something (5 nines
plus 2 digits). Version 3.0 is almost there, the big bugs are now gone as
far as I know, I'll see next how I organize the lot later on :)
