Is there a program available to create an audible sound when a visitor arrives
in a world?

When a visitor arrives it would create a sound that can be heard by everyone
nearby. This would work even when the browser window is minimised.
It would help world owners know quickly when someone has arrived.

I don't know if that is possible, but my xelagot bot has an option to
produce a sound (wav) on your computer when someone arrives. There must not
be any wavs playing in the world though, they take over. Of course, only
you, your wife/husband and granny hear it, no one in the world does :)

I had tried using your bot before but I didn't see that feature. I assume you
mean that the wav is only heard on the PC running the bot? If so that would
help a lot. Is your bot "happy" to run alongside HamBot?

Well, as far as I know you can either make it play a sound in AW,
which, to the best of my knowledge, will not work if it's minimized,
or make a sound that can be heard by you only, even if AW isn't
running.

well so far both HamBot and Xelagot bot both greet each other cordially
and even say farewell :)

hmmm ... maybe they can modify each other's scripts by exchanging lil code
genes?
