First.. I fixed the web page.. it reads ScRaM! now.. I misinterpreted what
you said that is why I was saying the things.. I dont know what file is missing.. I included all you should need.. I will double check.. the only one that could be needed is AW17.DLL but I don't know.. anyway.. I can post here if I damn well please.. and I didn't make it a big deal.. everyone else did.. -- - = [ T e c h n o ] = - http://wt.s5.com - = [ S t u f f - X ] = - http://www.stuffx.com/aw roluFeb 27, 2001, 8:35am

In other words: you are afraid we will be able to find ways to improve it in
such a way you don't get it anymore? Well, fine. Throw away a good chance to learn something. rolu roluFeb 27, 2001, 8:50am

hm... in pseudo code:
For every element in the string pick a random element somewhere in the string and swap. This would operate in the string itself, so it would need no extra memory (apart from an integer as index and a char as temporary swap storage). Also, it would have O(n) complexity. So, it should be fast for both very small and very large strings. rolu foxmccloudFeb 27, 2001, 10:26am
LOL !!!!
You're right... that's probably faster and sure is a LOT simpler... I don't know how I could miss that one lol... Thanks for sharing that... How could I imagine such solutions when this one was so easy?? Seems like the easiest ones can be the hardest to see... to me anyway lol Thanks. The easy ones are *always* hard to see :-) but just think a bit, and you'll
find them eventually. It wasn't my first idea either. rolu brandonFeb 27, 2001, 3:45pm
it says "run time error 14, type mismatch" if that helps you
