Ite I got this a while back.. but never posted it then I saw you postin for
stuff on it so here it is..


Telegram from HamFon, sent just now:

We're getting 3.1 beta ready - hopefully in the next week or so (delayed
from holidays). It's a closed beta, tho - by invitation at this point,
until we get further into testing :)

Closed beta began a week or two ago. :) I think everyone here already
collected that from all the rumors. :) I don't personally know anyone who
told me they've been testing, but I've heard Mauz was one of them somewhere.

Roland said at TechTalk that AW 3.1 beta will be released next Monday
as an "invitation only" round, but the tester list hasn't been decided yet.
The date when the beta will be avaible for public to download depends on
how the closed beta goes. AWCOM employees have had access to 3.1 already,
so maybe some trusted citizens too, but not me.

Thanks for clearing it up then Mauz. :) I guess a lot of misinformation as
been swirling around. :)

Ugh, I really hope this "closed beta" doesn't last for a long time, I really
want to try out the new commands and see the new features, such as the
Citizen Homepages...

They aren't actually giving you web-space, just the ability to let others
get to your site without asking you for the URL

Ergh I'm just waiting for 3.1 to come out for public beta...and *goes into
self-centered mode* I'm suprised they didn't pick me *raises chin* to
beta-test 3.1 (ok enough of that). Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait
another month to see if that one light post I made actually works (at least
by then the network card on my new comp will work so I can have hardware
that is capable of seeing it).
