The names above people's heads are messed up and the terrain sometimes
flickers. I tried emailing support but they never replied.

I had the terrain flicker problem, but it was only in OpenGL

As I said earlier, if you're one of the only people who sees this or not
everyone sees this it's often a problem with your graphics card. As andras
pointed out, not everything's a bug :P

Well my video card is new a ATI Radeon Card. And I installed latest DirectX
8.1

That doesn't mean anything. Radeon's have been known to be grumpy. You
have to upgrade your video drivers as well. Try the beta ones. I haven't
had this problem as well, most likely it's a video card problem. The ng
didn't get flooded with it yet so you must be the only one. Have a
screenshot to help us with what you're having problems with?

Mind you Carl, unless I'm mistaken, BOTH your video card AND your graphics
card MUST be able to *support* (Support being the keyword here) the SAME
latest version of DirectX as they BOTH have to use it. If EITHER of 'em
don't, you *could* have some BIG time problems like the ones you're
experiencing now.

Yeah they are. I said that earlier, the drivers should support DX8.1. Beta
driver are something I'd look into.
