I run Win2k on my system, but this is bugging me to death.. my friend went
to a website yesterday, and the site had a wav or something playing with it.
He closed the website.. but the music was still playing.. I don't like
restarting my computer, because my DSL gets screwed up, and it is a waste of
time.. anyone know a way of fixing it if it happens again without
restarting?

Ctrl-Alt-Delete everything except Explorer and Systray. ;-)

Unless one of the programs you are closing is good to keep running and
normally doesn't conflict with(i.e. on my computer it would be ATI drivers,
Norton AntiVirus, etc)
