http://objects.activeworlds.com/aw/lowtextures/ is full of duplicates
and files that are defunct.

actually most of us have re named the ones that clash this should have
been done long ago when we asked right after building AWmegaOY and now if
they do it there will be more clashes....................

I wasn't speaking about the zipped bmps !
There are files named differently but are the same for instance.

Suppose we have the same texture that is stored in two files on the OP.
Let's call them name X and name Y. Once that has been done, we cannot
remove one of them, because everyone who has built under one of those names
will have the textures no longer work for their buildings, assuming we have
to remove either X or Y from the OP.
