Building Quickly // Wishlistsgeo ~~~Feb 7, 2004, 2:07pm
Has anyone tried to build a lot of objects quickly (eg. 663 objects) and
would seem to cause a temporary disconnection and some objects wouden't be built? Is there a workaround? andrasFeb 7, 2004, 3:35pm

I have gone at about 40 object additions a second on 56k when I have nothing
else running, anything more it goes WFS... Try doing that with 40 terrain objects in AWTeen... and Brant goes WFS. :P - Marky R [View Quote] c pFeb 8, 2004, 2:35am
Well according to Lord Neos the machine when your building floors you can;t

Something similar was happening to me on build 522, I couldn't select multi
objects and copy them at all. I installed 524 and it seems to be fine now. Some of us thought perhaps a file had gotten corrupt in 522 and since I installed 524 to another directory the problem seems to be fixed. Not sure if this is what you were experiencing tho... 256K ADSL is up to 64K upstream speed - barely more than a 56K :(

:-\ that's if the 56K could dedicate it's entire bandwidth for upstream?
The most I've gotten ever was 10K upstream. Who's gotten more? |
