I see that a lot of post here in the wishlish contain questions about awi
putting in things like in grand theft auto series. You must understand that
it is not that simple, if awi added most of those functions (rain being the
main one) then that will reduce the amount of members because things like
rain on some computers is a nightmare it will cause major. Also, people have
asked about a live tv that is another example of something that requires
high persformance in systems and connections. Now, i'm not saying that some
day these wishes won't come true, but not right now. This is the main reason
that aw 3.5 does not have many new features engine wise.

I remind you that for every "high-end" feature, there can be an option to
disable it. Modern games actually scan your hardware and set these settings
accordingly, so people on low-end systems will still be able to run with the
"defaults," but can turn these additional features on if they don't mind the
performance drop. I do not see this as a valid argument.

By the way, as far as 3.5 not having many significant notable end-user
additions, my guess is that many proposed features have been moved to 4.0,
most-likely to avoid a recreation of 3.4's unending beta cycle.

mr. vb, video games are always raising requirements, if you have a sucky
computer it's time to upgrade, stop holding back the future.

[View Quote] I can understand your concern, but most computer users realize that
having a pentium 2 or 3 isn't leet anymore.

It doesn't cost that much to get a new computer, you spend more on gas a
month.
