You know how we can link email addresses to objects.
Ex. activate url mailto:yourname at whatever.com Ok well how bout the added subject line like we can on web page html. This will not work linked to an object yet, but I wish it did. Ex. activate url mailto:yourname at whatever.com ?Subject=aw mail marcus.gcn.cxDec 22, 2001, 5:44am
If you really want that now, have it go to a webpage that auto setups email,
then you can add the subject part. Example http://www.geocities.com/i_have_a_site/emailredirect.html [View Quote] ananasDec 22, 2001, 5:56am
<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">
<html> <head> <meta HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="0;URL=mailto:someone at anywhere.org?subject=AW_Mail"> </head> <body> </body> </html> :) [View Quote] -- "_ | /\ \ / __/ /_ baronDec 22, 2001, 6:59am
Works fine for me with no space after the email, activate url mailto:someone at anywhere.org?Subject=AW_Mail . Makes sense that it works too, all it does is pass the argument to the default browser.
