(1) The ability to write longer telegrams...More often than not I have to
send my message in parts / chunks

(2) The ability to save a copy of what you sent to others....and maybe
possibly use a folder arrangement like what we do with our emails

(3) The Telegram Mute!!!...seems if some spoilt brat can't get to you
because you muted them...they seem to just start flooding you with hate
grams.

Why not do the full step and organize telegrams in threads?

A telegram reply contains no reference and sometimes it is hard to
recall the context if an answer comes after some days.

I would LOVE to have a Telegram Inbox/Outbox. I almost always forget =
what I said after I wrote a telegram LOL. And the Telegram Mute/Filter =
would be nice too, as there are certain users that you would like to =
ignore. I think everyone would give three cheers for Roland even if its =
just the Telegram Mute implemented. Hey, why not add this to 3.1? :)

Because there are enough features that need to be added already. Anyway, it's on the list from quite a while ago, so maybe it'll be
added in the next version... dunno.
