Just found this section. My wish is that we have the option to turn off the
repeating ground object because if you want to put in a natural looking
landscape that you could walk around on, without having pieces of land
render in front of you all the time, and have it act as a true solid land ,
unique, not repetitive, that would be the best way to do it. Currently, I
have in my world, ArtDeco, a type of landscape that I'm talking about (you
need version 3 to see it) and when you try to walk forward a few meters, you
end up having the ground jump ahead of you, as if you've been teleported
back from where you came. So, currently, a 3d ground object won't work, and
a large single object would dissappear when you walk too far away from the
center axis. For people who own a limited size world like myself, we don't
need the infinate plane. We can only build so far anyway. Why not let us
have the option of a non repeating ground plane, It doesn't sound hard to
do, or is it??? :o) Waddaya think?

If any of you play Everquest, you can see what I mean, the new fog option
really enhances this type of ground object wonderfully too!

and wait just a sec you can do that now if you just want to build the ground
that is as long as you ground doesnt have to hig of a virt cout. all you
need do is blank out the ground field in the world setting and build the
ground from multiple parts

Doesn't removing the ground in the world also remove the gravity in the
world? Maybe an 'empty' ground object could be used instead so gravity is
maintained and then make the 3D ground using tiled objects.

Let me know if this is not possible :)
