Hi. I am going to upgrade my puter and wanted to know if anyone has had any
experience with the AMD line of chips. Would like your input on socket 754
and 939 chip sets. What is your preference?

If you want to do any future upgrades, choose 939 for now. However, they are
never satisfied, there is a new socket style coming out soon.

Also, if you intend to go with a nVidia video product, I'd suggest going
with a motherboard from either Abit or Asus with an nForce4 chipset,
possibly with SLI support. Depends on what your poweruser goal and budget
are.

Yep i really don't look at the chipsets but i built my computer so if you
need anything like thinking of upgrading motherboards,video cards etc gram
me ;)
