AW's lighting upside-down? (Community)
AW's lighting upside-down? // CommunityferruccioFeb 25, 2005, 11:47pm
It seems that now things are being illuminated from the underside. I don't
know about you but I've never seen a world where the sun is illuminating everything from underground :P The lighting was just fine yesterday, but someone just *had* to bollocks it up. Someone fix it please :P ryanFeb 26, 2005, 12:25am
AW sure has been having some bizarre weather patterns lately, so to
speak. Maybe you ought to use that prize world you won and build in there so the lighting is to your exact specifications ...you could always use the Alphaworld path then port your builds back later. Ryan [View Quote] tart sugarFeb 26, 2005, 1:58am
I didn't notice any illumination from underground. I think things are
getting illuminated from the East now, rather than from the West. I don't care, just as long as I can SEE. : ) ~TS [View Quote] sw chrisFeb 26, 2005, 10:36pm
Who knows? But it sure makes my crown work on a couple of my buildings
stand out. ^_^ Chris [View Quote] mauzFeb 27, 2005, 11:50am

Lighting is now X 55, Y 55, Z 31. So the sun is below Ground Zero?
I'm not sure if my example pic http://mauz.info/features-lighting.gif was taken in AlphaWorld, but there the values are -700, -500, -150, which puts the sun in the middle of the western/north-western sky. -- Mauz http://mauz.info sw comitFeb 28, 2005, 6:49am
