There's a newsgroup charter for a reason.
It wasn't my intent to be "rude", but kindly asking why John posted something off-topic. [View Quote] > why does someone always have to be rude sigh > [View Quote] elysiumJun 5, 2004, 6:45am

For people who posted complaints about this, would you mind me why you
didn't post the same things to "Question Non-AW" and "Something Interesting on CNN.com" and other things? Plus I thought it might be "amusing" for the "Community". And is this NG "Charter" official? I doubt it. Oh and please note that the CNN thing didn't initally mention AW in any of the posts related to it. John [View Quote] lord fettJun 5, 2004, 7:29am
The "Something Interesting on CNN.com" does relate to AW in the fact that
the other software is going to charge for land and a concern/discussion has been brought up about charging for vr land in AW. So it was made to relate to AW in some way. As for the "Question Non-AW" topic, at least it has meaning to it. A question has been made to get community feedback on and so it is okay to be made here. As for your post, it does not relate to anything and is pointless crap that does not need to be made in the first place. The picture is not even remotely humorous. This isn't the first time you have made a post like this. Please watch what you are posting about. Thanks. [View Quote] wizard myrddinJun 5, 2004, 7:40am
Agree
If ever protagonist in these Newsgroups only submitted material relating to the AW.INC universe community 60% of threads would be missing. I cant see complaints from members arriving in threads also that are not "related" to "community" I'm happy to see humour and trying to raise some laughter in these newsgroups, after all the other newsgroup got deleted due to abuse. If the person is trying to make the members laugh, good luck to them. Share and Enjoy [View Quote] johnfJun 5, 2004, 12:32pm
Why should I? when I get an e-mail from E N Z O requesting that I do, I
will. Instead of complaining about my posting, perhaps you should be asking AW to give us general.discussion back? John [View Quote] lioness.Jun 6, 2004, 10:40am
hmmmmmmmmm.... gives me a good idea for Halloween for this year. LOL. Thanks
for the inspiration. ;-"D [View Quote] johnfJun 6, 2004, 1:17pm
Why don't you people leave these replies for posts such as "What if? ...."
thats just as "off-topic" as my post! John [View Quote] |
