When you go to Options/settings/video, what does T&L Support stand for?
Tech & something?
All I know is that it makes AW run a heck of a lot better for me, whatever
it is.

It stands for "Transform and Lighting". Hardware T&L means that the video card can handle some of the number crunching required for 3D graphics, reducing the burden on the CPU.

You should enable T&L it makes the rendering a lot faster.
