Yeah, there's no problem with it this way, it tends to get more people
based on lack of evidence (as they'll usually be guilty 99% of the time) but it also has the problem with jailing innocent people because they're already on trial and that the jury doesn't really care about the fate of the person. It may be the norm. I'm not disagreeing with that. What I am stating that I disagree with is the premise that it has to be that way, and is that way everywhere.
