If you block someone from your newsgroups can you later unblock them easily?

and I didn't think it possible to block someone from sending telegrams to
you.

Hi everyone:

RIGHT click on cit. name, highlight PRIVACY OPTIONS FOR <cit name here> and
select BLOCK TELEGRAMS. There are other nifty privacy options too if you
*really* consider someone to be annoying. :-)

Hope this helps :-)

Cheers for now :-)

Yes, it's just a matter of removing them from your killfile.

You'll need to keep whoever keeps harrasing you (is it The Lady again? if
she really harrases you, report her to abuse at activeworlds.com) on your
contact list to block their telegrams. Follow the instructions Pc Hamster
gave.

Thanks Kah. I haven't received any telegrams from The Lady or anyone that i
would feel the need to block but it is good to know what to do if needed. I
feel that I'm getting to know you all a bit and getting to know AW a bit
better by reading the newsgroups. Being a Mom I don't get as much time on AW
as i'd like to so the newsgroups are a good way for me to learn some things.

Actually, the newsgroups are kind of its own beast. Lots of people, for
whatever reason, act completely different in the NGs than they do in AW.
My guess is that, in AW, there's more pressure to get your messages out
as soon as possible in order to carry on a discussion, so people are
less likely to plan their response and wind up letting more of their
true selves show through. :)
