[NG Survivor 2] Cast your vote! (Community)
[NG Survivor 2] Cast your vote! // Communitynornny11Sep 14, 2002, 9:29pm
Sorry for the multiple posts in one week, the timing has once again been a
bit off. :(( This one will be really short though. Week 9 is almost over, folks! Did you know 9 was a multiple of 3? If you didn't, well, now you know! And what this means in Survivor is that YOU get to help vote off one of our remaining 8 survivors!! Isn't that cool? Knowledge you can use. :)) Here's the deal, today, our survivors pitted themselves in an Immunity Challenge of wits and strategy. :) They stood on an elevated gameboard with 9 walks all linked together (they were arranged in a 3x3 square). They all started on the center walk, and answered a survival trivia question. Whoever got the question right would be the first to move to any adjacent walk, or choose to stay. But they would also get to pick a number designating one of the walks to be deleted, and for any survivor on that walk to lose the Challenge. If no one got a question right, a random walk would be deleted. Lioness and Builderz answered the first question right, and coincidentally picked the walks that Ambient Spirit and Mod walked right into. Lioness and Builderz went head to head, and dodged landing on a deleted walk. Centerwalk, was deleted in an earlier question, but Lioness began to move towards it, and fell off the platform halfway. Builderz, being the last survivor standing, got the Immunity Necklace and cannot be voted for this week. Which leaves 7 people to pick between. Will maki and Gamecube again be up as targets as the AWTeen and Oldie alliance become even? Will Ambient or Lioness come up as femme fatales after Gandalf's revelation of a female alliance (although he did not follow them)? Or is Gandalf going to be ousted for his big mouth? Will Eric or Mod, other members of the AWTeen alliance, be voted off next for their bonds? It's partially in your hands this week, public. :) LOG ONTO http://pub50.bravenet.com/vote/vote.php?usernum=4253335963 AND VOTE FOR THE SURVIVOR YOU WANT TO SEE VOTED OFF THE NEWSGROUP!!! The contestant with the most votes will have a vote casted against him/her at Tribal Council. You can vote as MANY times as you like for as many survivors. You will not see the results of votes or anything. You'll have to look on our website to see who the public voted for under Tribal Council. :)) So, have yourselves a blast! And ome and watch Tribal Council tommorow at 5pm VRT in the world NGS2002. :) Otherwise, here's your chance to foil a survivor's master plan! I wouldn't give this up. :) This is a 1 in 3 oppurtunity. :)) 8 will become 7, as the first member of jury is decided. Tune in the begining of next week to see who's fate fell short. -- From the Newbie's Guide to the AW NG: "Nornny11 - The original wishy-washy man, this one can actually insult you and compliment you in the same breath, and in the end say absolutely nothing! What a talent!" lioness.Sep 15, 2002, 7:49pm
Dear Diary,
Wow! What an interesting coupla weeks this has been. Out of the blue Gandalf telegrams me to ask me to form an alliance. This is the first time he's made any attempt to get to "know" me better or even "speak" to me. Even though my instinct warns me not to, I gram him back to say yes to his suggestion. I wanted to give it a try, despite the warnings others have sent me about trusting him. Eric confides in me. I promised not to tell anyone what he told me. And I felt a bit sorry for him and knowing he has so many votes already cast against him, I vote for someone else in my tribe who doesn't have as many. Sad to say, Mongo somehow gets voted off. I never expected anyone to vote for Mongo. He's such a great team player and very nice. (sigh) He's carried our tribe through more than any of us did. Guess he was too much of a threat to my tribe mates. I'm still not sure how I won the Immunity Challenge. One minute I'm standing on top of my pole like everyone else....I take a moment to look at my daughter while she's speaking to me, and "Wallah!" ....I'm instantly transported back to where ever and my daughter is asking me what happened. Everything happened so fast, I spent the next 10 mins scrolling back on the chat to see what happened. It was great to see everyone working hard on moving our objects to our new camp. Ambie sure did a great job picking our name. Maybe one of these days when I log into the world, Nornny will have left the lights on so's I can see what I'm doing in there. I'd love to be able to help my tribe mates organize our camp...or at least get some of those trees out of the clouds. :-"/ The challenges have been fun so far. I have to admit I was shocked to learn of the possibility that some of my tribe mates have been cheating. And I was shocked to learn that it is accepted. (shakes head). I don't blame BB a bit for resigning. One spends hours trying to beat his personal best on a game and for what??????? When I think of all the times my little girl tried her best at those games....just so she can feel included in this contest.......JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZ it burns me up!!!!!! BB I will miss you and I understand why you did what you did. But as much as I support you on your decision, I feel the need to stay in this game and go as far as I can playing honestly. I don't play "hardball". I truly believe in letting people "hang" themselves so to speak. Give em enuf rope....... hehehe. ;-"D Today was interesting, to say the least. I was a bit surprised by the turnout at Tribal Council. There were more people there today than have gone recently. The outcome was shocking too. But not the betrayal. Funny how Eric voted for Maki for something that I supposedly did. Eric felt betrayed by something I said, and voted Maki off to get back at me I suppose. Seems like a cowardly thing to do in my opinion. Why didn't he vote for me instead???? Why Maki??? Is he THAT much of a threat???? Some people seem to have the wrong impression of me. I DON'T have any alliances. I have friendships and respect for certain people. When I went into this game there were a couple of people I met before, but really didn't know well. Most of the people though I only knew from seeing their names in the ngs. Over time however, and through getting to know each other I have gained respect for some individuals. If someone goes out of their way to get to know me or anyone as a person, they have my respect. If they exhibit an interest in playing this game fairly, they have my respect. If they truly care about the other players in this game, they have my respect. If friendship is mistaken for an alliance, then that is the misconception of the person who feels threatened by it. Maki was one of those people, who not only tried to get to know me, but he participated in more challenges and helped more often in camp than some others in this game. Maki never asked me to form any alliance and I never even thought of asking him. And I won't ask anyone else either. Is Eric going to vote off another person that I respect just to "punish" me for saying something he disagreed with?????? If so.....he will hang himself in front of not only the ng readers but also in front of the newly formed Jury. It is an immature thing he has done. And cowardly. Next time Eric, vote for me. I'm a big girl. I can take it. And by the way Eric.....I STILL have not disclosed to ANYONE what you confided in me.....although now it is very tempting to do so. Hmmmmmmmm...... ;-") [View Quote] builderzSep 16, 2002, 1:06pm

<start> NG Survivor Diary Entry Number X (I lost count) Like Lioness, I am sad to see BinaryBud go. It seems my fellow Robego members are dwindling even more in size. Last week I couldn't make the challenge because of conflicting time issues. This week, I made both the challenge (and won, due to Lioness falling) and tribal council. I had the option to either keep my immunity or void the public vote. Nornny asked what the others there at tribal council thought, and only Eric said to not keep immunity because he was afraid the public would vote for him. Well, I went with the majority (who can argue with the majority? ;) and kept my immunity. It turns out that although Eric got one or two votes, he was still safe in the game. I hope there are no hard feelings because of my decision. This is going to become very interesting over the next few weeks. Maki is now on the jury and will help decide who is the ultimate survivor (when the time comes). Only time will tell... -Builderz <end> |
