Hey Everyone:)

Alot of people are gramming and emailing me inquiring of the status of
the Cy voting.
I really don't know...sorry:(
Please email cyawards at awcommunity.org and someone there should be able
to help you out:)

The Community Voting for the Cy Awards will open next Saturday, Aug. 24. :)

In a after thought, it might have been a better idea to put something on the
web site for all those that dont read the community newgroup.

When I checked for information there was nothing posted anywhere, even the
Cy forum, which seems to be dormant.

Any reasons for this delay?

It's addressed to Kellie, shouldn't it be e-mailed to Kellie?
'Was just curious' doesn't give any clue as to why it might have been sent to the newsgroups.

opps just came up this in the cy forum, I quote;

Unfortunately as I have only received 4 out of the 9 Selection Committee's
votes at this time, we will be unable to open the Community Voting as
planned tomorrow. The Community Voting will be re-scheduled to open next
Saturday, Aug. 31.

Whats going on here? seems like the selection committee are holding up this
very important event that the community enjoys that seems to be falling
apart at the seems with even the selection committee not interersted in
getting the noninations in on time.

Hi, could you please fix your From: header? Because you use illegal
characters in your email address it parses wrong and your newsreader has
cut stuff off it. Don't have any stuff like paranthesises in it, stick to
alphanumeric characters and dots. judging from the bit available you'd use
something like this: izzy at remove.this.NOSPAM.[your domain]

I was sick and tired of receiving spamm from harvesters that hunt newsgroups
email accounts. All that know me are aware of my email account and how to
contact me.

If not been able to see my correct email address offends you don't go
looking in properties. As this account requires a aw valid username and
password the owners of the newsgroup have my correct email address if you
are desperate use a inworld telegram to ask for a email account to use.

Again, it has nothing to do with the newsgroup; you should have therefore switched to private email.

There are some things, such as your post, that don't belong in the NG and obviously belong in private email.

Your email address doesn't just appear in properties; as above, it appears in replies. My newsreader shows the email address with the username of the poster as well.
