Hi everyone:

Moving on to a more CONSTRUCTIVE and USEFUL thread, I'm in the need for
traffic lights for my town on AlphaWorld.

Does anybody know where I might find 'em???

Better yet, if they're a series of objects, what's the common name(s)???

I doubt there are any....you might check around at Lara's NW Builders Supply
at AW 1096.0N 988.0W 0.0a 0. I doubt AW has them though.

Just In (from this universe) may have some he'd let you use from Broadway. I
believe he also has the walk + don't walk signs. You'll have to talk to him
about it though... :-)

he said in a town in aw so he cant use other worlds objects :D and yes some
of the object yard have made traffic lights from a series of aw objects
using the bump actions. you just gotta be creative cause aw doesnt have many
city-like objects

- Try 2 midispk.rwx objects above each other with create texture metal1 or create color black.
- Then using drink01.rwx or something similar create the lights in the object
- Name the lights and use astarts to move between them (if needed)

Hi everyone:

[View Quote] I suppose I could give this a try, but I would need traffic lights which are
attached to an arm of a pole (especially for major intersections, which
there are PLENTY on the North & West sides of town).

Think SW City but further up North and West. In fact there's a series of
roads starting from Syntax' roads, which, if followed correctly, should put
you right on South Brookline Avenue, which runs along Hamsterville's East
side. Once on Brookline, just work your way West (Archuletta Street is an
EXCELLENT place to start heading West). Once you get up towards Zero East,
you'll see what I mean. :-)
