Hello fellow Citizens:-)))
I'm new to bots. Just downloaded my Xelagot about a week ago. And I'm impressed about the posibilities with the Xelagots. This is very, very kewl programming:-))))) But I have a problem scripting my Xelagot. And I know it's me and not the bot:-)) Perhaps I'll explain it with a scenario: I found that the Xelagot is very usefull for my historical surveys/expeditions/research so here goes: I want my xelagot - Snoopy - to tack along when I'm on expedition and if I find something interresting I will click on an object and have Snoopy report to me verbal: Model, Description, Citizen, Action, and write it to a file PLUS the objects position. Well getting the information written to a file is fairly easy(!) But I can't find a script command/variable which isolates Model, Decription etc. I thought that all this was in the GetTargetObject script command. But it seems to me that the data GetTargetObject returns is pos, hight and direction of the object. I know about querying the database, eventhandler, filter etc. Your help will be apreciated:-)) Shekwan What's up with all the Gor worlds?Jun 11, 2000, 7:46pm

Hi there...
Is there a kind soul out there who can kindly and calmly explain to me how = to make a bump panel work together with a corona? Situation: I want to make a bump-panel containing the code to make a corona on the obj= ect name 'a'. Object 'a' is situated a couple of meters away from my bump-p= anel. When I bump into the panel, I want the object to appear with a corona. Here is the code for object 'a': create name a, visible off, color black So far, so good.. The object now has the name I wanted it to have, 'a', I c= ant see it, and it is colored black (when it appears) OK so here is the code for the bump-panel: create visible off solid off ; create corona c_sun size=3D100, light brigh= tness=3D100 color=3Dred fx=3Dblink,time=3D1, solid off, visible off, name= =3Da With this code, I dont see a corona :-(( This is just one instance of several tries. I have tried several other comb= inations but I had no success what so ever... You advice is greatly appreciated here:-)) Or if someone could direct me to= a webpage with the prober information. That would be very cool:-)) Thank you very much Shekwan Re: coronas and bumpingDec 27, 2003, 3:37pm
Hello sweets and axelthemartian...
It works just the way I want it now. Thanks a lot for your help and advise guys! Is there a list somewhere where I can see who was the original owner of an =
AWHS account? It is impossible to figure out who did the build, unless there is an object= specifically saying who did it. Like a mailbox or a sign. Also, if such a list exists - which I hope - is there any remarks as to the= reasoning behind the conversion? Some account conversions make sense - like King Punisher's account - but o= thers don't. I have been looking all over the place for such a list, without success. Shekwan |
