Hi everyone.

I didn't know where to stick this kind of post, so I decided to put it here,
since it looked like the most global newsgroup. This is about the AW
Browser.

I'm working on a program that does changes to the AW Browser settings, and
there are a few things I need to know about some of them:

First, in aworld.ini, I don't know the meaning of:

[performance]
try_directdraw
mmx
panning
directdraw

[display]
depth
no_warning

I know that some of these, or even all of them, may be obsolete, but I can't
figure out what they do exactly.

I'd also like to know if it is possible to change the colors of text written
on dialogs (directly written, not inside editboxes). It is possible to
change the background colors in controls.ini , but I'd like to set the
background to black and that is not possible if the text color remains
black.

Third thing, I'd like to know what the Users tab is for. Universe owners?
(That's my guess)

Fourth, is there a chance that toggle music\toggle sound effects will be
implemented as toolbar.cfg commands in a close future? If not, how about...
ever? :P I think those are the toolbar buttons I miss the most. Of course,
there is also a chance that they already exist and the help files were not
updated - I never know what exactly is implemented in these updates that pop
up from times to times and I don't know how to set up outlook so I can see
older news :P

Hehe, sorry everyone... I always keep my entire AW folder (except cache)
when I format my HD, so it's been here since 1998 :P

Doesn't anyone know anything about the text colors, and the other stuff?

This is SO FUNNY :P I'm still laughing, hehehe... 30 minutes in the computer
means he's using it for denial of service attacks... ROTFL!

I think I'm a hacker too :P I even use an AMD processor!
