I don't know what kind of video card I have, but it's a new computer I have it about 3 months. They said it was a great video card, that all I know. I do have to find out what kind I have. AW is the only 3D program I run. My problem is I will be in AW then all of a sudden the screen changes to all these colors, it's like all the objects are melted together. I have updated my drivers on my video card, but now the screen stays messed up!! It won't load at all now. I can't see any objects at all now, it's just a bunch of colors mixed together on the screen. I also did what you ask ferruccio, The box is <Highest 32bits>. WhoooooooooHooooooooooo I got my problem fixed. My Direct X was an older version I had 8.1. I updated to the 9.0 and I'm back up and running. I'm still going to look into a new graphics card. I wanted to send out special thanks to everyone on behalf of myself and the CY Team for everyone who dropped by the CY World last night for the last minute unveiling of the newly remodeled CY world. We took the CY world to the top of the world chart last night. WTG Community!!!! That's what the CY's are all about you the "Community". I hope we made you all proud. J I also wanted to send Special Thanks to Tunablues and Dreamer2 and their dream team for helping bring this year's theme "Transition to the Future" Into the future, with all their great builds and modeling. Also Special thanks go to Tengel who helped come up with a much easier system for the community to cast your nominations and votes. The whole CY team has been outstanding. Nominations open this Friday "May 26, 2006" and will continue through June 03, 2006. You will go to ground zero in the CY awards, and click on the big gold star and Ms CY will then give you your password, then you're ready to login and cast your nominations. Please come back if you don't get all your nominations cast in your first visit and Ms CY will give you another password and you can finish up. After nominations we will be adding a teleport section so you can just teleport to all the locations that have been nominated, so you can see first hand what you will be casting your votes for. The gold sign to the teleport center will also be at ground zero. There isn't anyway We can postpone the CY's this year. I am so very sorry, that the CY's just happen to fall right in the middle of our move to 4.1, but of course I had no idea when we were setting the dates that this would happen. I do have an idea for all world owners, best avatars etc. that have been nominated, which are posted already for everyone to veiw on our website at http://www.awcommunity.org/cyawards/ Then go to ground zero in the CY world and get your passwords, if you haven't already and change it. Then we do have a place on the website to upload pictures of your nomination. If your world isn't running in 4.1 yet, take your screen shots in 3.6. I feel if everyone will get out there and take your screen shots and upload them to the link, so those who are casting votes can see the pictures, this will help out a lot with the worlds that are not up and running at the very time of the votes. <Hint> It would also be nice to see pictures on the website of those that will be running also :) PS: If anyone has any questions. [1] Do you really think the Cy Team has the power to post a message to whole universe? Let me answer that for you? <NO!!!> So we didn’t typo anything, and yes it was a very stressful time, people were working hard to try and fix the problems. And a lot of people worked years to get this day ready and more hours than I can express to you and not for us personally, but for the CommuntiY we love so dearly!!!! So a Typo on the Universe message was the least of our concern. [2] Shame on You. When what happened last night was totally out of the CY hands. Laugh have fun, because when you are pointing that finger and laughing 4 more is pointing back at you, so no rope hanging around my neck. [3] This year CY Awards couldn’t have been any fairer, and for you to say differently just because your X Rated world wasn’t allowed in is totally child like. You know the reasons why, and I will not waste my time nor the little bit of energy I have left to go through it again with you. [4] Now you want to talk Typos learn to spell yourself, at least a typo is hitting the wrong key. You should try spell check and start spelling correctly. And so yes I laugh...because they screwed up...and in screwing up even typoed their boner to the 'Masses'....How could I NOT laugh after such treatment, and such incredible incompetence...and after having shut up for so long against my better judgement <correct spelling judgment> [5] And last, at no time did anyone from this CY team tell you to shut up. That’s a bold lie!!! PS: I'm so sorry Andras, I just could not seat back and not reply back to all these hurtful words. no call for insults....sometimes the sweet truth is a bitter pill, but necessary It was funny....it is funny....it was news....its over.... I am sure 100 others are snickering behind their hands about all this, I am maybe the only one brave enough, or stupid enough perhaps, to LOL in public.... One of my worlds, a masterpiece, was barred from competition because it is X world. I received very nasty telegrams from people because of my wanting a fair competition and my letters to this newsgroup. ALL worlds eligible, not just what some consider worthy, that's all I wanted. I was told to shut up....so I shut up I and others had trouble coming over to 4.1, I made it on time but I asked for a possible extension for myself and others to 'prepare' and have time to look at builds to have time to vote and the Linux people to get connected..... I was told NO....it is NOT POSSIBLE....NO WAY....I received insults, telegrams, some quite nasty....again I was told to shut up....again I shut up I was nominated for Leader, but the nomination was rejected, without explanation, or so I have heard and he was blocked when demanded the reason. I have 2 other nominations in there, and appreciate the nice thoughts. But I did not go to that party, expect any chance of winning a popularity contest (LMAO), or did I participate in anything further from that time I asked extension. I was told to shut up...so I shut up. I did not think this years CY was fair....honest....or caring of almost a quarter of our citizens that were lost (or confused) in a 'natural disaster' called 4.1....an extension would not have been so difficult, or impossible....it would have showed they cared for the 'community' If they do not care....why should I?....
