Umm... actually Myrth, I orginally told you about the idea :-)

Although you creatively thought of the toilet world...

This is yet another test, please ignore. I added the line to my registry for
Outlook to give me 3,267 char length, so I am about to type some babble to
see if it
worked. --------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I just dumped Outlook Express and am now using Mozilla. So, this is my third (and hopefully last) test.

PLEASE HELP - mouse probs in aw

Beserker, you can let the Rage II install, and then disable it in Device
Manager. Windows will no longer try to install it or use it after that.

I think Shamus is programming now. I'm not sure, though.

Rather humorous...

This doesn't have anything to do with AW, but it has a lot to say about
forum characters. I thought it was hilarious :)

User dismissal vote

Feb 9, 2001, 12:52am
If possible I would like to change this vote to 'stay'. I thought it over some more and decided that Eep should not be banned from the news group. After all, wouldn't it be boring without Eep around? :)

He does contribute to the community with helpful information, although not always presented in the way the reader would prefer; it's still informative and helpful. Any decent news reader (Netscape, Outlook Express etc.) has a filter, so if a person doesn't want to see what Eep has to say then they should filter him.

Please accept my apology, Eep.

Best performance ????

Mar 4, 2001, 5:19pm
I've got a related question. I have 512MB of PC100 RAM, should I upgrade to
PC133?

Specs:
Windows 2000
Thunderbird 1.1GHz
Maxtor 7200 RPM 40 GIG EIDE
nVidia GeForce2 Ultra

Best performance ????

Yeah, it does. When I built the computer in December all I could afford was
PC100 RAM (especially after buying the GeForce2 Ultra). How much of a
performance boost would PC133 have over PC100?

Thanks for the advice. Looking at the prices of PC133 right now, I'll just
go ahead and upgrade.

I barely know you; therefore I don't hate you. It's your choice to leave, but frankly, no one cares. You're quite welcome here if you would just stop whining and being such an ass all the time. You could also ATTEMPT to use correct English, so I don't have to fix your short line length, grammar, punctuation, and spelling every time I reply to you.

When you're AFK... (repost from a while ago).

.... go to AFK world and turn off world privacy. Works like a status
indicator.

'Leaves' world

Mar 18, 2001, 12:16am
I happened onto an awesome world a while back called Leaves. It's a nature
themed world owned by Cotarr. It has beautiful scenery, great sound
effects, and not too laggy either. The download time is suprisingly low, as
many of the objects there are simple objects such as rocks, sprites, etc.
It's the best nature world I've seen, so take a look sometime. You can find
out more about Leaves at http://leaves.cotarr.net

'Leaves' world

Don't post when you're in a bad mood! :)
This is the AW Community newsgroup, where such things as my original post are completely on topic. If it came through as spam, then I'm sorry. That's not what I meant. I was just trying to help out a fellow world owner who deserves some recognition for his work. If I were to post that to Beta, then anyone would have the right to flame the heck out of me :)

Now that the flaming has gone down to a considerable level, I've finally come out of my two year period of lurking in these newsgroups.

[View Quote] I was just trying to help the world out. It's hard for a world to be noticed these days, what with nine hundred or so worlds. I just thought it was a well built place and deserved some recognition.

Note that I took the liberty of correcting spelling and trying to repair some of the quoted text breakup. I find it best to use Mozilla and set line length to 9999. (See http://tnlc.com/eep/wrap.html)
